The Way of IKASU

Picture
During the Edo Era of ancient Japan, the samurais carried their swords not only as a fierce weapon, but also as a symbol of pride and honor.  Great samurai swords were crafted with unparalleled materials by highly-skilled sword makers who, like samurais and their swords, passed down their skills and pride through the generations.

The most revered samurai swordsmiths were in the southern part of Japan’s Honshu Island which was rich in natural resources necessary for making exceptional swords.  Today, iron masters in the area still take pride in their tradition and skills that were passed on to them from centuries ago.
Like the legendary samurai swords, IKASU golf clubs are artfully crafted in Himeji, in the heart of this famed swordmaking region, by highly-skilled and dedicated ironsmiths.
